Outlet Herzliya

The outlet is located in the main business district of Herzliya Pituach. The good thing about the mall is that the shops have yearlong sales, meaning that you can find mostly winter clothes in the summer and summer clothes in the winter... There are shops like Mango, Castro, Honigman, Dan Cassidi and many more. You can also find cafes there as well as fast food. The bookstore next to the mall is one of the few stores in the area, where you can find English books and really a lot of them. I love this shop, because

Kitchen Supply

If you guys are looking for kitchen supply or need new stuff for pessach, you should check out 2 shops which I can recommend.
One is located on Ben Gurion Street and is called “Techno Idan” and they offer almost everything you need for your kitchen. They have a big amount of disposable dishes and silverware, but also things like pans, or pots, and any other supply (besides electronic stuff) you would need for the kitchen.
The other shop is called Sheshet and is located on Hess Street 48, which is not far away from the Central Bus station in Herzliya. They offer kitchen supply as well as decorative stuff, which are both qualitative and cheap.
You should go to both shops and see what is better for you, or compare the prices. It is difficult to say which one is cheaper, but I would say “Techno Idan” is cheaper, but Sheshet has better quality!

Pictures of Sheshet will be added soon.....

Triple Meat

Although it is just a small place it is one of my favorite places here in Herzliya. It is called triple meat and is located on Ben Gurion Street 2 (next to the kikar) next to the bus-stop in the direction of Ra’anana…

What do they offer? I can recommend the toast, which is white bread with a sauce of your choice. I always take Ketchup and Mayonnaise, but I know they have much more, as sweet chili, honey mustard, other types of mayonnaise and so on… then you choose your favorite type of sausage and at the end you take salad or any other sauce you would like to have on your toast. Then they put it into a toaster and after ~5 min its ready and you got yourself a delicious meal. To make this meal perfect

Best Breakfast All Day/Night Long - BENEDICT

I absolutely loved Benedict. The coffee was perfect and the food was everything I could ask for. They offer a big selection of breakfast dishes from pancakes to sweet breakfast to all kind of egg dishes.

People told me that “Eggs Benedict” is simply the best; it is nicely surrounded by fresh bread, but you get it with ham and therefore Benedict is not kosher.

Some impressions of last night's standup

Great show Isaac, we all enjoyed it very much! great jokes (except the the one about me... "Ze Germans") and great musicians.
McLarens is a small and cozy place on Ben Gurion street with a lot of different beers and different snacks. I tried Kriek, a cherry beer, which tasted very good. Before Isaac entered the stage, his friend Tray played some guitar and sang a few cool songs. The moment Isaac started, people laughed about his jokes and enjoyed his show. He got a lot of applause and we saw that Isaac seemed comfortable on stage. After he finished his program, Dora entered the stage and sang "Mercedes Benz". Take a look at the pictures and film, so you can get your own view of last night!!! Have fuuunnnn and enjoyyyyy :)

Video will be added shortly...

Israel Week

07.03-10.03 - The Israel Week @ IDC is over and I saw some good stuff there…They had amazing food, like falafel (only 12NIS), big potatoes and sweet potatoes with sour crème (I tasted it, and although it cost 22NIS, it was really worth it). Besides of that, I saw amazing desserts, strawberries with Crème and strawberry shakes, they looked incredibly tasty. The highlight was that you could get a glass of wine during your breaks, as well as during your study time… I saw students walking in with their glasses into the class. This, you will only find at IDC.
This week didn’t only offer food, but also clothes and paintings. In the Arison Lobby you could find people selling clothes and jewelry. Although it wasn’t cheap at all, they had nice things there, and if spending enough time, you could find a steal. The paintings were all around the Arison Lobby from different Israeli painters. What a pity that they were so expensive…
And you all remember, March 8th was the international Women’s day and the IDC thought about us… we all got flowers… mine is still alive and has a special place in my apartment…
Hope you will enjoy the next Israel Week on IDC campus…

Japanika

Japanika in Herzliya Pituach, as you may have guessed, is a restaurant mainly for Japanese food, but their expertise is Sushi, the best Sushi in town... if you ask me!

It is my favorite restaurant here in Herzliya and since they began offering "Take Away" (Mishloach, since Feb '11), I'm having Sushi at least once a week :).

Papagayo

The best way to see what the Marina offers is to take a walk around. That's what I did a few days ago and I found the meat restaurant "Papagayo". It is located on the 2nd floor and you have a beautiful view on the many yachts of the port.

Herzliya Marina

Heyyyyyy all :)

The Yacht Port is one of the most amazing places in Herzliya, which is called Marina . There are many different restaurants, shops and other attractions about which I will write in the future.

ENJOYYYYY :)

As I said already, the Marina in Herzliya is one of the main attractions the city offers. The port, surrounded by restaurants where you can eat and drink, take a walk or just enjoy a nice evening. In addition, you can visit the Arena Mall, which offers exclusive shops and boutiques. The renovations were finished just a few month ago and it's definitely worth a visit (Hours of operation: Sun-Thu: 10.00-22.00, Fri: 09.00-16.00, Sat: 11.00-23.00). A modern complex of holiday apartments and deluxe hotels are also situated around the Marina.

If you are looking for parking, you can drive straight down to the garage (free at night!) and if you have an Israeli ID with an Herzliyan adress you can park for free on the parking lot on the right side of the Mall.

P.s.: When you enter the Marina you should take a left and walk all the way till the end and you will find the most exclusive yachts of the port. The area is very small,  but very romantic and interesting and surrounded by luxury apartments. Not too many people know this area, so go and take a look.
